Has total 36 years of teaching experience at various levels from school, P.G to Engineering level. Awarded Ph.D. on “A relative effectiveness of computerized Multimedia Package in Teaching of Social Sciences for School Children” by Bangalore University.

A Master Trainer in Computer Education Certified by INTEL “Teach to the Future”. Has Certification by Centre for Cultural Resources & Training New Delhi, Certificate in guidance from IGNOU. Worked as coordinator to NAAC peer group visit and VT Member to NCTE. Worked as Member of BOE, Deputy Chief Custodian, Chief Examiner, and Squad Member in Bangalore, Mysore Universities, Chief Examiner to University of Pondicherry distance Education. Worked as Program In-charge for IGNOU B.Ed. program and as Chief Superintendent of IGNOU Examinations Was associated with Question Bank Projects of Staff Selection Commission, Government of India was associated with DSERT Projects.

A Resource person to Curriculum framing committees at Bangalore and Mysore Universities. Regular Resource person to Academic Staff College of Bangalore and Mysore universities. Conducting workshop and orientation programme to School Teachers to University professors on various kinds of Teaching Strategies and techniques by preparing varied modules.

An advisory Board Member to high schools of Bangalore and Mysore. Has worked as Chairperson for various Paper Presentation sessions at International, world conferences organized at Srilanka, Bhutan, Nepal and has visited Thailand, Singapur to enhance knowledge about teacher Education. Received Best Paper Award at National Level Seminar for presenting a paper on “Developing Computerized Techniques for teaching and learning process at B.Ed. Level”.

Received Best paper presenter Award at National Level Seminar for presenting a paper on Drive away “The Rote Memory” with the solution of ‘Open Book Evaluation’ System in schools. Recipient of Dr. Radhadrishna Shikshana Ratna National Award for Distinguished contributions to the field of Teaching, Research and Publications conferred by International Institute for Social and Economic Reforms, Bengaluru Attended/participated/chaired 54 Seminars/ Symposia/ Conferences/Workshops presented papers at World, International, National & State level programmes conducted by various National and International organizations 22 Research Papers have been published in various Peer Reviewed Research Journals, 8 in Souvenirs and 5 in Magazines and Published 2 books.

Also is in Editorial Board of few Scholarly Research National and International journals. Delivered Radio Lectures on “Historical events of 18th century in the development of Bangalore”, broadcasted by FM Rainbow. Being a Trained singer & Freelance Dancer, has trained students for various Competitions and cultural events at state level. Her main interest is travelling across the country and abroad. Can speak 5 languages very comfortably.
