Dr. M.C. Nagaraja is an MSc.in Zoology with masters in both Samskrit and English. With a penchant to explore the fields of both science and ancient wisdom, he has also done PhD on a topic pertaining to elephantlore of ancient India from the Karnataka Samskrit University.

He has been a Lecturer in Samskrit since 16 years at the prestigious Sri Kumarans P.U.College, Bengaluru.

Presented papers in International level Seminars and National level Seminars on elephants and other Indian systems.

Has deciphered a Samskrit manuscript which pertained to a river and was also the co-author of book on the same subject – Pinakini Mahatmyam.

Has several publications to his credit in Samskrit and Kannada journals.

Has translated two books from Hindi on a famous personality Sri.M.S.Golwalkar (better known as Guruji).

Was on the editorial board of the very famous Kannada work “Maneye Mangalya”.

Has given several radio and television programmes viz., discussions, plays etc telecasted on various channels.

He is into social activities related to Samskrit and culture since 25 years. His hobbies include research work and social activism.
