About the role

As a Learning Resource Developer – Mathematics and Physics, you will be responsible for designing, revising, and enhancing high-quality teaching and learning materials that promote effective education. This role involves developing engaging resources, prototyping innovative teaching aids, and supporting the project manager in executing key deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Mathematics and Physics, a creative approach to resource development, and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to create impactful educational content.

Full time role based at our Bangalore office.

Responsibilities

Content Development

Develop high-quality learning resources, including textbooks, workbooks, and activity-based materials for mathematics and physics.

Design interactive and hands-on teaching-learning resources that make abstract concepts tangible and engaging for learners.

Simplify complex mathematical and physical concepts into age-appropriate content for students.

Resource Revision

Review and revise existing materials to align with updated curriculum frameworks, including NEP 2020 guidelines.

Enhance existing content with innovative methodologies, such as experiential learning, STEM integration, and real-life applications.

Prototyping Teaching Resources

Ideate, and design prototype of teaching resources, including visual aids, experiments, manipulatives, and digital tools.

Collaborate with designers and SMEs to ensure resources are effective and user-friendly.

Collaboration

Coordinate with the project manager to align tasks with project timelines and goals.

Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), designers, and illustrators to ensure seamless development and implementation of learning materials.

Assist the project manager in tracking progress, maintaining documentation, and ensuring quality standards.

Innovation and Research

Stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in teaching mathematics and physics.

Incorporate best practices from global teaching frameworks and tools into resource development.

Quality Assurance

Ensure that all materials are accurate, engaging, and aligned with curriculum standards.

Conduct reviews and tests of prototypes with educators and learners to gather feedback and improve resources.

Support for Implementation

Provide input on teacher training modules to support effective use of the resources.

Assist in creating user guides and manuals for teaching resources.

Educational qualification

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or Physics.

Additional certifications in curriculum design, instructional design, or STEM education are an advantage

Competencies and skills required

Strong conceptual knowledge of mathematics and physics, particularly foundational and high school levels.

Ability to apply real-world and interdisciplinary approaches to teaching STEM concepts.

Proficiency in developing textbooks, workbooks, and digital resources.

Creativity in designing age-appropriate and interactive materials for different learning levels.

Ability to work effectively with project managers, designers, SMEs, and other stakeholders.

Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating clear and concise materials.

Ability to simplify complex ideas for diverse audiences.

Experience in assisting project execution by maintaining documentation, timelines, and deliverables.

Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or MS Project.

Proficiency in using tools like MS Office, LaTeX, or similar for content creation.

Familiarity with design software like Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, or Canva is a plus.

Strong analytical skills to develop creative solutions for teaching complex concepts.

Openness to exploring new methodologies and digital tools in education.

Preferred experience

At least 3–5 years of experience in teaching, content development, or curriculum design for mathematics and physics.

Experience in developing STEM-based resources or working with education-focused organizations is a plus.
