THE

Role.

As a Project Associate – IKS Center, you will contribute to the successful execution and research projects in the field of IKS. Your responsibilities will span project planning, coordination, research, documentation, and capacity building. The role requires working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, academic experts, and institutional partners to develop high-quality resources, facilitate training programs, and ensure effective outreach. You will also be responsible for maintaining project documentation, managing data, and supporting administrative processes.

Responsibilities.

In this role, you will support end-to-end project implementation through research, coordination, documentation, outreach, and capacity-building activities.

Project Implementation & Coordination

  • Assist in planning, execution, and monitoring of project activities.
  • Coordinate with team members, experts, and stakeholders.
  • Maintain project timelines and ensure deliverables are met.

Research & Documentation

  • Conduct literature surveys, archival research, and field visits related to IKS themes.
  • Prepare research briefs, reports, and project documentation.
  • Assist in content creation for academic publications, manuals, and awareness materials.

Outreach & Capacity Building

  • Coordinate training programs, workshops, seminars, and conferences.
  • Assist in developing educational resources aligned with NEP 2020 and IKS integration goals.
  • Facilitate engagement with schools, colleges, and community stakeholders.

Data & Knowledge Management

  • Maintain project records, databases, and documentation.
  • Ensure proper archiving of field data, multimedia content, and research outputs.

Administrative & Logistical Support

  • Assist with procurement, budgeting, and expense reporting.
  • Prepare official communications, meeting minutes, and progress reports.

Location and Commitment.

Full time role based at our Bangalore office.

Educational Qualifications.

Master’s degree preferably in Humanities and Social Sciences or related disciplines.

Knowledge of Sanskrit is an added advantage.

Competencies and Skills required.

Inclination towards Indian Knowledge Systems.

Strong research and analytical skills.

Proficiency in English. Working knowledge of Hindi and regional languages preferred.

Familiarity with MS Office, Google Workspace, and online collaboration tools.

Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Experience.

Experience in educational projects, heritage documentation, or cultural research.
