Smt. H.M. Rukmini Nayak is on the Experts Core Committee for Katha Bharati (Stories for Life) Module of Samvit Research Foundation.
She has done her post-graduation in Arts and also has a degree in Education.
She served as a high school teacher for 27 years. She has also been Pre-university lecturer for 10 years.
She has been honoured as the Best Teacher by Government of Karnataka in 1991. She has counseled both teachers and parents extensively.
She was also the editor of the book “Bala Pradeepa”.
Social activities:
After retirement, she has involved herself in many social activities such as “Shri Annapoorneshwari Rice Scheme”, organized for the upliftment of the Banavasi children, and also “Shri Sharada Vedhike”, for their mothers.
In memory of Late Smt. Lalitha Phengre, the “Shri Lalitha Mahila Vokoota” was started by her and her associates.
